WORK & EXHIBITIONS

I discovered patchwork quilt making while on holiday in the UK over 25 years ago. Quilt-making is not a craft practised in Thailand, but having moved to a new country I felt isolated, and found quilt-making healing; it also brought me lots of friends.

My quilts are distinctly personal, taking a non-Western cultural base to a Western concept using and adapting its techniques. All my work is for sale, and I take commissions.

With my recent return to Thailand, my work reflects my recent interest in more conceptual aspects of art. I am attracted to human life, in particular to its cross-cultural aspects, its traditions and the environment in which we live.
